Recently, the process‑R&D team at Nantong Scorsese Intelligent Equipment has refined its composite machining processes for CNC milling, wire EDM, and precision grinders, optimizing the manufacturing workflow for high‑tolerance, complex‑shaped components with irregular geometries. The company has long been dedicated to the in‑house production of critical mechanical structural parts; in the past, intricate, custom‑shaped components suffered from cumbersome machining sequences, extended lead times, and significant challenges in controlling edge‑and‑corner accuracy. Drawing on the operational characteristics of the workshop’s Makino and Yongjin five‑axis machining centers, the R&D team restructured the machining process flow, adjusted toolpaths and cutting parameters, and minimized dimensional deviations caused by secondary setups.
